CTG was founded on September 27, 1993, to construct the Three Gorges Project. CTG focuses on clean energy development and environmental conservation of the Yangtze River and is committed to making significant contributions to the comprehensive green transition in economic and social development.
CTG’s core business encompasses hydropower, wind power, solar power, and other renewable energy sources. It has established the world’s largest clean energy corridor. CTG actively supports the Belt and Road initiative and keeps expanding its international business and cooperation, playing a significant role in global renewable energy development in the hydropower, wind, and solar power sectors.
By the end of May 2023, CTG’s consolidated installed capacity in operation stands at 125 GW, 96% of which is from clean energy, solidifying CTG as one of the world’s leading producers of renewable power. CTG’s environmental protection projects along the Yangtze River span across all 11 provinces along the river. CTG operates in nearly 20 countries and regions worldwide, earning the highest ratings from international rating agencies.
